How to Check India Post GDS Result 2025
Follow these simple steps to download the GDS Merit List PDF:
- Go to the official website – indiapostgdsonline.gov.in
- Click on “Shortlisted Candidates” under the result section.
- Select your applied circle/state.
- A PDF file will open with the names and registration numbers.
- Use Ctrl + F to search your name or registration number.
- Download or save the PDF for future use.
GDS Document Verification (DV) Details
If your name appears in the merit list, you need to attend the Document Verification round. The last date for completing DV is April 7, 2025. Candidates must carry the original documents along with 2 self-attested copies.
Required Documents:
- 10th Class Marksheet
- Caste/Community Certificate (if applicable)
- Computer Training Certificate (minimum 60 days)
- Disability Certificate (if applicable)
- Valid ID Proof (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)
- Passport Size Photographs

The selection is purely based on merit, calculated from Class 10th marks. No written exam or interview is conducted. In case of a tie in marks, preference is given based on age and category.
