Eligibility and Qualification
- Educational Qualification:
- 10th Pass + 3 years regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire; OR
- 12th Pass (Regular Study).
- Driving License:
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License; OR
- Medium Vehicle License issued at least one year before the advertisement date; OR
- Light Motor Vehicle License issued at least two years before the advertisement date.
- Heavy Vehicle Driving License must be acquired within the probation period if not already held.
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 30 years (as of 01 November 2024)
- Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.
Junior Assistant (Fire Service) Selection Process
- Stage 1: Written Examination (CBT)
- Total Marks: 100
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 50 (UR/OBC/EWS), 40 (SC/ST)
- Stage 2: Document Verification, Medical Examination, Driving Test, and Physical Endurance Test (PET).
Physical Endurance Test (PET)
- Running: 100 meters
- Pole Climbing, Rope Climbing, Ladder Climbing, and Sandbag Carrying tests as per AAI standards.
Junior Assistant (Fire Service) Exam Pattern
The written examination will consist of two parts:
- Part A: Subject-related questions (50% weightage)
- Part B: General Knowledge, English, General Aptitude (50% weightage)
